Over the past week all of our selections are start to get installed and we had been receiving change order after change order....which wasn't suppose to happen. Everyone knows me...I was up front with all of our vendors and explained that Chad and I were wanting to stay in our allowance on our selections.
As you may remember our first meeting with Interior Designer was with Sheri at Legacy. We thought the appointment went really well, 5 months later we now know that she didn't really know the allowance and we are now having to prayer that only 2 screw ups is all that we will get from this.
Turns out the lower level granite was not part of the allowance and we are heading back over to Legacy to make another selection Wed Jan 13th. Keep in mind this was not on our featured sheet, I asked Sheri several time if this was in our allowance and each time the answer was yes. Keep in mind we met with Sheri 4 times, and I asked her 4 times (if not more) if this was in our allowance, and the answer was always yes.
On our standard features list, 3 Neutral Interior Wall Colors is list. I again wanted to confirm this with Sheri that meant 3 color and we don't have to included our ceiling/closet/trim color. She confirmed that I was correct, so Chad and I picked out the following three colors....we just received a change order for Dover White our ceiling/closet/trim color.
I'm currently saying a lot of prayers and trying to manage all of this the best I can.
