Jay came into town Friday night at 10:15pm. Chad and I went to pick him up after cleaning the house and eating Chipotle for dinner. When we got downtown we realized our exit was closed and then after sitting in traffic for 15 minutes I realized
First Friday was going on downtown. At this point it started to rain so hard we couldn't see 2 feet in front of us. Got Jay and headed home. We all stayed up talking and went to bed after midnight...I believe someone stayed up watching Prison Break....that was not I.
The next day we ate the apple cider donuts he brought us from Tanner's these donuts are still the best donuts I have ever eaten. We headed up to J&S's around 9:45 and Jay was holding his nephew by 10:30.
We hung out for several hours..the boys went and got us Subway while Shannon and myself talked and watch the little man. Jason, Chad, and I had a little photo shot with J&S and Hudson for some family photos. Jason's photos turned out so well. I can't wait to see all of them.

Leaving there around 3:30 I wanted to drive up to Weston. It had been about 3 years since I had been up there and Jason wanted to check things out as well. Especially after he read in The Weston Chronicle that it had been 20 years since our friend Donny accidentally ran over his girlfriends kid brother's head. Everyone was fine after a couple of days but it was pretty dramatic in our small town of Weston.
We had completely forgot about Applefest this weekend so it was really crowded. We saw the new Fire Station...pretty fancy! We drove by our old house, my best friend in school's old house, and then through the town of Weston. Downtown was blocked off so we couldn't drive downtown which was a bummer. We had decided we would eat downtown but after we saw the crowd we decided to eat at Taco Via.
This is the B&B that we used to live in before mom and dad built the house in the country. The owners that bought it from us turned it into a B&B and have really changed it. The wall in the front is new, the ball lights, and the white fence are all new. They have really changed the outside of this house. It would be nice to stay in this house one of these days. I would love to see what she has done with it.

On Sunday, I invited J&S and little man down for food and the game. I love to cook for people...here is what I made. Everything was very tasty and couldn't have been any better.
Below if evidence what the men really do after the football games...sleep off the food they just ate. Shannon and Hudson are next to me on the couch and he is sleeping it off as well. Some good times with family.
